ATLANTA - Atlanta's Hard Rock Café Rocks Harder for Bartender Competition:    If you think bartending is as easy as "measure-measure-pour" -- you might want to stop by Hard Rock Café Atlanta this week.  The BARocker regionals are taking place Thursday, and will place the spotlight on the men and women who make bartending an art.

Hard Rock Cafe's BARocker is an annual competition that pits bartenders from Hard Rock Cafe locations against each other in a battle of showmanship and flair.  Bartenders from the southeast will be represented Thursday night, judged on various elements including recipe knowledge, accuracy, and speed.  The winner will then head to Hard Rock’s annual Global Conference, where he or she will compete in the worldwide finals.  For the second year, BARocker will benefit a great cause -- Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta is partnering with The Giving Kitchen, which provides help to Atlanta’s restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken is a BARocker veteran at this point, having covered the event the past few years.  He spend the morning at Hard Rock Café Atlanta showing off the skills he's learned so far (or, at least trying to...)
