Endurance race celebrates 'lucky 21' at Road Atlanta

When it comes to motorsports here in the Southeast, there’s just nothing quite like the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.  And for the next four days, fans will crowd into the Braselton track to find out which cars have what it takes to conquer the 10-hour final showdown.

The 21st Annual Motul Petit Le Mans is happening Wednesday, October 10 through Saturday, October 13 at Braselton’s Road Atlanta.  Founded in 1998 by Road Atlanta owner Don Panoz, the four-day event brings a packed schedule of action to the track, finishing off with the grueling 10-hour IMSA WeatherTech Championship on Saturday.

Drivers from around the world compete in the event, and fans are able to hang out in the open paddock, meeting their favorite drivers and seeing the incredible cars up-close.  Road Atlanta also features a newly-paved Fan Zone, filled with interactive displays and food and souvenir vendors.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken never misses a chance to hang out at Road Atlanta, and spent the morning there getting an exclusive first look at this year’s Motul Petit Le Mans!
