Paul Milliken
Paul Milliken is the Emmy-winning feature reporter for Good Day Atlanta, criss-crossing the state every morning to showcase Georgia’s most unique people, places and events. He’s also the host of the series "Behind the Scenes with Paul Milliken," streaming on FOX LOCAL every weekend.
Paul joined the Good Day Atlanta team in 2012, and his work to highlight the very best of Georgia has since been honored with the state’s Bill Hardman Sr. Tourism Champion Award and Georgia House Resolution 738, which was presented in 2025 and recognized Paul’s "unwavering commitment to sharing the diverse and vibrant stories of Atlanta." In 2024, he was named one of 90 Georgians who have made an impact by Georgia’s Own Credit Union, which featured Paul on its digital sign high above downtown Atlanta.
Paul is a proud graduate of the University of Florida (yes…he’s a Gator). His first television job was at KIDK-TV in Idaho Falls, followed by stops in Orlando and Richmond, Virginia. Paul also earned a degree in Geosciences from Mississippi State University, and holds seals of approval from both the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association. As a meteorologist, Paul won a 2010 Capital Emmy Award for Best Weather Anchor, and the Virginia Associated Press honored him with a Best Weathercast award two years in a row.
Paul is also a big pop culture fan — movies, music, television, you name it — and his entertainment interviews for Good Day Atlanta have earned him several Southeast Emmy Award nominations and another win as Best Program Host/Correspondent in 2024.
In his spare time, you’ll find Paul writing (usually at a local coffee shop, with a giant caffeinated drink next to his laptop), watching horror movies, and listening to Motown music, preferably Diana Ross and The Supremes. He’s a big supporter of local community theatre and is currently procrastinating on writing this year’s Good Day Atlanta Christmas song.
