3 killed in Peachtree Corners crash identified, 3 others injured

Three people have died as a result of a car crash in Peachtree Corners.

Gwinnett County police were called to Peachtree Corners Circle and Elmside Village Lane just before 4 p.m.

According to police, a dark blue BMW was traveling east on Elmside Village Lane and was attempting to make a left onto Peachtree Corners Circle when it was struck by a yellow Chevrolet Camaro traveling south on Peachtree Corners Circle.

The driver and passenger of the BMW died at the scene. The driver has been identified as 46-year-old Armas Harding of Brookhaven and 46-year-old Laura Rueda of Brookhaven.

The driver of the Camaro and the front street passenger sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital. The rear seat passengers, children ages 5 and 6, were taken to Scottish Rite with serious injuries. One of the children, identified as 5-year-old Aura Camarono, died at the hospital.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
