Suspects found in truck of missing South Georgia man

- Two men and a teenage boy arrested in connection to a home invasion were found driving a truck of a South Georgia man who has disappeared, according to investigators.

Darrian McDaniel, 26, of East Point, Demitric Lawson, 19, of Atlanta, and an unidentified 15-year-old boy were arrested on Friday after a police pursuit. The F-150 they were driving was identified as being the getaway truck in two separate home invasions at Century Lakeside Apartments on Peaks Landing near Conyers.

"One of our sergeants saw what appeared to be a brown F-150 leaving the area and the occupants inside the vehicle seemed to match what the victim had reported seeing coming into her door," said Conyers Police Officer Kim Lucas

Police chased the truck down Brown Road to an area along Old Covington Highway where the occupants ditched the truck and fled on foot. All three were arrested a short time later.

Soon after they were captured, Conyers Police learned the suspects' vehicle was part of a missing person's case out of Early County in southwest Georgia. The truck belongs to Thomas Entrekin, 55, who disappeared from his home last month.

"He had been reported missing on January 29, I believe, but he had already been missing for a couple weeks prior to that. We estimate he has been missing three plus weeks at this time," said Officer Lucas.

Where is Entrekin and what were the home invasion suspects doing with his vehicle nearly 200 miles away?

Conyers Police are working with Early County Sheriff's investigators and law enforcement in East Point as well as Atlanta to flesh out any possible connections between the missing man and the robbery suspects, but they've revealed little about this unexpected twist in the Conyers case.

"You would want to find out if these three individuals have any sort of association with this missing person the owner of the truck. We are working to look into that at this time," said Officer Lucas.
