Police say a man has been arrested in connection with a string of break-ins and crimes in the neighborhood of East Atlanta.

Antoine Brown, 24, was initially arrested in October for the Oct. 9 burglary of a home on Gresham Avenue. At the time he was released on bond.

Officials now say Brown can be linked to at least a few cases of breaking and entering in the area, including a burglary on Stokeswood Avenue on Oct. 19 and a vehicle break-in on Flat Shoals Road on Oct. 28.

They also say Brown can be seen on video at another burglary in the area that happened on Nov. 30.

Brown was apprehended over the weekend in DeKalb County.

The southeast Atlanta neighborhood had been seeing a rash of break-ins by a group of four thieves, one of whom at least had a gun.

Homeowners in East Atlanta provided dozens of clear pictures and videos of intruders roaming on their property and entering their houses.

Police are attempting to obtain warrants for more cases and say they are continuing to investigate the open cases.
