Crews arrived in Atlanta this week to begin the final transformation efforts to get the city ready to host Super Bowl LIII. They got to work on Friday.

“We're starting to see a lot of the graphics going up,” says Brett Daniels with the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee. “We've got some of the street pole banners. You'll see some of the graphics on the stadium some of the large buildings downtown.”

Signage featuring the Lombardi Trophy is in place alongside Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The security gate fans will walk through to enter the stadium has also been put up.

Centennial Olympic Park will serve as the venue for a number of concerts and other family fun activities.

“I think the way we're going to bring Centennial Olympic Park alive with Super Bowl Live and some of the elements we'll have inside the park and some of the things you'll see outside of the park-a few surprises in store that'll start going up here in the next week or two.”

Those who drive in the area should take notice. Several streets will be closed from January 21 through February 8.
