Fulton County celebrates new and veteran teachers

ATLANTA - Fulton County welcomed nearly 600 new teachers into their ranks for the upcoming school year.

That put the district's total teaching force at about 7,000 teachers.

The county held a celebration for both new and veteran middle and high school teachers Tuesday at Cobb Galleria.

Attendees were able to connect with other teachers and staff across the district at the event.

Inspirational speakers also got everyone pumped up for kicking off the new academic year.
