Police: Shot fired near Ansley Mall

ATLANTA - There is a heavy police presence near Ansley Mall in Atlanta after a shot was fired on Friday. 

Atlanta Police said a man got into an argument with his ride share drive along Piedmont Avenue. The passenger got out of the vehicle and fired a shot in the air, then ran from the scene, according to police. 

Officers are trying to identify the suspect and find him. 

There are no reports of any injuries.
