BROOKHAVEN, Ga. - Brookhaven Police have identified two suspects they say were involved in a triple shooting outside a Buford Highway sports bar that left one victim dead.
Officers say 21-year-old Humberto Lorenzo Barcenas and 19-year-old Enrique Segura Diaz got into an argument with other customers outside the Acapulco Restaurant and Bar last Sunday.
The two men went to Diaz's vehicle to retrieve a gun, which Barcenas used to first shoot into a taxi cab and then shoot across the parking lot, police said.
A passenger in the cab, 21-year-old Brookhaven resident Kevin Carranza Acosta, was shot and killed on the scene.
Police say the driver of the taxi and a bystander in the parking lot were also shot. They were each treated at local hospitals.
Barcenas and Diaz have been charged with felony murder, five counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Police say the two men are considered armed and dangerous and may have fled to Mexico. Officials say that the suspects were last seen in Diaz’s red 1998 Acura Integra with the tag RKW5709. The car has a gray front bumper and mismatched rims.
