Police: Body found in Cobb County likely missing woman

MARIETTA, Ga. - Police say they believe the body found inside a vehicle in Cobb County this morning is that of Charlene Baggette, a 58-year-old woman who was reported missing in June.

The car was located just before 9 a.m. Friday at the bottom of a ravine on Trickum Road near Steinhauer Road, according to police.

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene as a tow truck hauled the vehicle away.

Baggette was reportedly last scene in the area of Lassiter Road in Cobb County on Thursday, June 23, 2016.

She is described as a white female, 5’03” tall with green eyes and dirty blonde hair.

The investigation is ongoing.
