Mattie's Call issued for missing 14-year-old Clayton County boy
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities in Clayton County have issued a Mattie’s Call, Georgia’s emergency missing alert for disabled or elderly persons, for a 14-year-old boy last seen Monday.
Melvin Robinson left his apartment around 1:30 p.m. at the Willow Way Apartments, according to the Clayton County Police Department, while having a “crisis outbreak.” Police said Robinson was diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia and has not been consistent in taking his medication for it.
Robinson is described by police as being 5’11” tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a sky blue shirt with “100” on it, black Adidas pants and black, white sneakers, and two black bags filled with his belongings.
Police believe Robinson is traveling on foot and may be headed to the Riverdale Road area.
Anyone who sees Robinson is asked to call 911 immediately.
