SMYRNA, Ga. - It’s been a long few weeks for Melvin Moss’ family. The father of two and grandfather was reported missing back in January, but just last week his body was discovered in a wooded area near his Smyrna home.
“We need answers,” Triana Arnold James, Moss’ cousin said.
Smyrna Police believe Moss’ death is suspicious, but would not comment any further.
Friday loved ones gathered near the spot Moss’ body was found.
“He was gone 47 days and found here in an area we searched and searched,” Adrian Williams, Moss’ brother said.
Moss’ family said they don’t know what happened to him or how he died, but they say they suspect foul play.
“Way we found him was like he was a piece of trash,” Yvonne Mason, Moss’ sister said.
Police are asking anyone with any information to come forward.
