Community shows support for family of college student killed in drunk driving crash

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A large showing of support for a family who lost their daughter in a drunk driving crash.

The family of Kennedy Segars asked the community to come to the DeKalb County Courthouse Friday afternoon to support opposing bond for the driver accused of killing her.

The 18-year-old was home from college visiting her family Sunday night and stopped at a light, when police say Reggie Stubbs rear-ended her going more than 70 miles per hour.

Stubbs appeared in court for a bond hearing Friday on several charges including DUI and homicide by vehicle.
