HALL COUNTY, Ga. - Hall County Deputies are searching for a suspect who shot at a boat from the shores of Lake Lanier.
The Hall County Sheriff said that deputies were called to a boat in the area of Burton Mill Park on Saturday around 1:30 p.m.
The occupants of the boat told officials that while they were onboard the boat someone shot a window.
Authorities believe the shot came from the shoreline near Blackberry Lane.
Deputies, rangers and the Georgia State Patrol Air searched for the shooter, but they weren't able to find any suspect or evidence.
No one was hurt in the shooting.
Officials are now asking anyone who might know anything about the incident or who has had a similar experience on the lake to call 911.
