Police: Man tried to steal money from restaurant register

UNION CITY, Ga. - The Union City Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for his part of a restaurant tussle.

Investigators said the man went into the IHOP on Londonderry Way Tuesday and scuffled with a waitress trying to get money out of the register.

Police said he ran from the restaurant.

Anyone who recognizes him is asked to call the Union City Police Department.
