Police: Man gunned down in northwest Atlanta

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Police are investigating after a man was shot to death inside a car Sunday evening. 

Police found the victim in a silver car parked at a northwest Atlanta apartment complex. Officers were called out to the Hollywood/Shawnee complex in the 1000 block of Hollywood Road around 6:45 p.m. Sunday evening. Detectives told us the 28-year-old victim had been shot multiple times. 

The victim died at the scene. Police have not yet released the man's identity. 

Investigators on the scene didn't talk much about the investigation, including if they have a motive for the crime or a description of the gunman or men responsible for the killing.
