Home invasion leads to jewelry store heist in Buckhead

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A Buckhead jewelry store manager was the target of a terrifying armed robbery over the weekend. 

Atlanta Police told FOX 5 the owner of the Icebox Jewelry store on Peachtree Road and his wife were followed home by armed gunmen. The gunmen, who were wearing masks, tied up the couple inside their Cobb County home and then stole the jewelry store keys.

The suspects then left and robbed the jewelry store. 

The store owner and his wife were not hurt during the home invasion, according to police. 

Cobb County Police are investigating the home invasion, while the Atlanta Police Department oversees the Icebox jewelry store investigation.
