Georgia Supreme Court orders Fiat Chrysler to pay $40 million in death of boy

Fiat Chrysler will pay $40 million to the family of a little boy who was killed in a car fire.

That's the ruling handed down today by the Georgia Supreme Court in the 2012 death of 4-year-old Remington Walden.

Walden died when the Jeep Grand Cherokee he was in was rear-ended by another vehicle and burst into flames.

His family said the rear-mounted fuel tank was to blame.

The company filed an appeal but the court struck it down Thursday.
