This Florida grandmother's got slugging skills that would rival any professional.

The only thing 65-year-old Clarese Gainey needed to scar off a car break-in suspect was her baseball bat.

"This is my weapon right here," Gainey said. "You mess with me, I'm gonna pop you."

The suspect picked the wrong car to try to break into, when Gainey caught him trying to commit a crime outside her home in Gainesville, Florida.

She says the man was only clad in his underwear and charged at her when she spotted him.

But Clarese wasn't afraid.

"I mean I popped him hard. I popped him like BAM," she said. "He said 'Ow, you hit me!' I said 'you better get your [explicative] away from here. I got to cussing. I was sure enough mad."

After she popped him, police say the man, identified as 36-year-old Antonio Mosley, ran away and hid out at a nearby trailer park.

That's where police caught up with him.
