ATLANTA - A cold front pushed steady, heavy rain through north Georgia Monday morning.
By afternoon, the steadiest rain shifts eastward. Skies will clear some, leaving us partly to mostly cloudy during the afternoon with a few scattered showers or thunderstorms possible. Temperatures will hold in the upper 60s to near 70 all day.
Winds will be gustiest over the north Georgia mountains, where a Wind Advisory is in effect until 1pm for gusts up to 35 mph.
Rainfall totals of 1"-2" are expected before the rain ends.
The severe weather risk is low, but a severe storm cannot be ruled out this afternoon in eastern parts of Georgia as the cold front moves by.
