ATLANTA - The FOX 5 Storm Team is tracking slow moving rain moving through north Georgia on Wednesday.
A stalled front is responsible for rain today. With the front situated across middle Georgia through the afternoon, the most numerous showers and storms and the highest rainfall totals will be in areas near, east, and southeast of Atlanta.
Given the scattered nature of today's rain, some areas will measure over an inch of rain, other areas may get very little - especially across far north Georgia.
The unsettled weather pattern will remain in place through the end of the work week with rain likely each day in the form of scattered rain and non-severe thunderstorms.
