ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Thousands went without power Sunday after trees fell throughout metro Atlanta during a round of heavy rain.
A number of metro Atlanta counties were under severe thunderstorm warnings throughout the day.
FOX 5 viewer Megan Millward sent us photos of trees that fell in Buckhead, nearly falling on a car.
A slight risk, Level 2 was posted for a large part of north Georgia for through late afternoon Monday. Damaging winds and large hail will pose the greatest threats.
