Venus Williams holds clinic for group of young tennis players at summer camp

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Tennis star Venus Williams made a special stop in Georgia on Monday afternoon.

The City of South Fulton welcomed the tennis star to the South Fulton Tennis Center where she held a private mini-clinic to teach nearly 100 young tennis players enrolled in summer camp.

In addition to going through tennis drills and playing the game, city officials say Williams offered the campers words of encouragement.

Organizers hope her visit will inspire the young people.
