Most Bulldog fans want to forget the heartbreaking loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff National Championship, but a bet made by Six Flags Over Georgia before the game is going to make that difficult for Georgia thrill-seekers for a while.

At the time, Six Flags Over Georgia entered into a friendly wager with Alabama Splash Adventure over the outcome of the game. The deal was if Georgia lost, the park would rename its Georgia Scorcher rollercoaster to the "Alabama Scorcher" for opening weekend.

Now, with opening weekend starting March 10, it's time for the park to suffer the consequences, and the owner of the Alabama Splash Adventure is not going to let it go quietly.

Owner Dan Koch and his staff are making the trek down south this weekend to take a ride on the renamed ride.

"To the victor goes the spoils, and even though I may not make it out of Georgia alive, I will be screaming 'roll tide' from the top of the Alabama Scorcher," Koch said.

To add insult to injury, the ticketing staff of Six Flags will also be sporting Crimson Tide Shirts on opening day.

Thankfully this is only a temporary thing, so all you Dawgs fans won't have your blood pressure skyrocket before you get on any rides for long.
