Police: Dwight Howard caught speeding in uninsured vehicle

Atlanta Hawks center Dwight Howard was stopped by police for speeding on westbound Interstate 285, according to Dunwoody Police. During the stop, police determined that the car Howard was driving was uninsured, police said.

The incident happened on April 28 near Ashford Dunwoody Road in Dunwoody.

Police said Howard was cited for driving without a valid driver’s license and the vehicle was towed.

No further details were immediately available.

The Hawks would later that night end their season with a 16-point loss on Atlanta's home court in Game 6 of the first round against the Washington Wizards.
