It was a picture perfect night for the HIGH 5 Game of the Week in Clarke County. The Commerce Tigers (3-1) traveled to Brad Akins Field to take on the undefeated Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines.

"Let's light it up. Let's get this thing going," Coach Michael Brown told his team before the big game. At around the same time, Wolverines Head Coach Greg Vandagriff was firing up his team, "We have the honor of be the Game of the Week!"

The Tigers got right to work. Their tough running back Cole Chancey did the Lion's share, or rather we should say Tiger's share. He took Commerce to an early 6-0 lead with a touchdown.

Skipping ahead to the 2nd quarter, Prince Avenue comes back with Grant Roland throwing a deep one to #8, Christian Parrish. The Wolverines were on top 7-6.

It got even better when Roland made a swing pass to Noah Campbell, putting the Wolverines up 14-6.

After the half, Chancey was nearly unstoppable, bouncing off defenders. He then broke it for 14-yard, went for two points and tied the game, 14-14.

But Prince Avenue would not accept that. Roland showed he had passing and running skills as a quarterback, keeps the ball and makes the biggest run of the night taking the ball to the 2-yard line and in gunning distance to win with 10 seconds left.

Final play, Roland hands it off to #32 Thomas Huff who runs it in for the game-winning touchdown.

That is how Prince Avenue beat Commerce, 21-14. The Wolverines remain undefeated at 6-0 and are in charge of their region race.

"Nobody expected a 10-second win at the very end," Coach Vandagriff told HIGH 5's Bill Hartman. Hartman teased, "That the the way it should be done, itn't it?"

"Well, we have done it every way different each week, this week I guess it's the 10-second win that we get," responded Vandagriff.

"Well they dropped in coverage and I saw nobody was there. And you know, I just tried to make a run that was best for my team," said Roland about his late-game bolt which put the Wolverines in position to win. "I mean, I'm just trying to protect the ball. You know, I can't risk any turnovers and I really try to do the best for my team. I love these guys!"

The Wolverines host the Lakeside Academy Lions (1-4) next week while the Tigers host the  Providence Christian Academy Storm (1-3)
