Big Show recap - Week Twelve

ATLANTA - Whew! Is it over already? Seriously? Where did the regular season go? It’s Week Twelve already! Can you believe it? Some teams will move on, their names ascribed to the brackets in the Sports Bunker, but sadly, many teams, we will be saying goodbye to you this week.

It’s not that we don’t want you to go, but it’s just that time of year. Where every game now is an elimination round. But before we the brackets, let’s take one last look back at the final week.

From Winder-Barrow, Quarterback Brock Landis winds up, throws it deep, Lamonta Mack, who comes down with it in triple coverage. The Bulldogs were playing catch-up in a huge game against Dacula.

The undefeated and 5th-ranked Walton Raiders hosted Woodstock in a battle for the Region 4-AAAAAAA Title!

Then on to Powder Springs where the Mighty McEachern was at Hillgrove for the “Battle Down in Powder-town!” It is a hot rivalry and is also for the Region 3-AAAAAAA Title!

The North Paulding Wolfpack was at Northcutt Stadium to face the Marietta Blue Devils. The winner moves up to third in the region seeding behind McEachern and Hillgrove.

On to some Region 5-AAAAAAA action between South Forsyth and West Forsyth. Who ends up on top?

Tucker Vs Stephenson - Call of the Week

And the 680 The Fan Call of the Week was a good ol’ fashioned DeKalb County slugfest at Hallford Stadium. Class AAAAAA’s top-ranked Tucker and Stephenson. This is for all the marbles in Region 4-AAAAAA! Chris Mooneyham and Doug Konkel have the call on the radio and Eli Jordan brings you the pictures.

The Jonesboro Cardinals faced the Titans of Drew High School. The winner moved up to the 4th and final seed in Region 4-AAAAA!

The Raiders took on the Maynard Jackson Jaguars, but first the Riverwood Cheerleaders got all HIGH 5 #INYOURFACE!

The Fayette County Tigers were at STARR's Mill to face the Panthers. The Tigers were trying to sneak into the 3-AAAAA fourth seed on the very last game of the schedule!

The Chiefs of McIntosh were trying to stay alive for the postseason. They were at Whitewater taking on wildcats.

The action continues with the Monticello Hurricanes. They were desperately needing a win against AA's fourth-ranked Rabun County.

The Stone Mountain Pirates and the Westminster Wildcats battled it out. The Pirates are out of it, but Westminster needed to win this.

Prince Avenue at Athens Academy – Game of the Week

This is a huge game. It’s so big, it was voted out Game of the Week! It was a Region 8-A shootout between Prince Avenue and Athens Academy. Both were undefeated going into the game, but coming out of it was a different story.
