ATLANTA - Kirby Smart added a big piece to his 2018 recruiting class on Wednesday as 5-star offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer out of Pace Academy signed his national letter of intent to play for the University of Georgia.
"I kind of had my mind made up for a little while," said Salyer. "Making that call to [Georgia] coaches was fun, telling my family was fun, it's been a fun process and I'm glad to move on to the next stage."
Salyer made his pledge at Sports & Social in Atlanta, picking the Bulldogs over Clemson. He thanked his mother, grandmother and the Pace Academy community before donning a gray UGA hat.
