Falcons to honor fallen Pike County football player

- The Atlanta Falcons will be dedicating Sunday’s game to the Pike County High School football player who passed away after being injured in a game.

Dylan Thomas was injured on the field in the third quarter of a game during a play on Sept. 28.

He was taken off the field and airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital where he passed away two days later.

The 16-year-old will be recognized by the Falcons.

His Pike County Pirates teammates will be on the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for pre-game festivities to honor Thomas.
