Falcons to honor fallen Pike County football player

The Atlanta Falcons will be dedicating Sunday’s game to the Pike County High School football player who passed away after being injured in a game.

Dylan Thomas was injured on the field in the third quarter of a game during a play on Sept. 28.

He was taken off the field and airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital where he passed away two days later.

The 16-year-old will be recognized by the Falcons.

His Pike County Pirates teammates will be on the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for pre-game festivities to honor Thomas.
