PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The Arizona Cardinals have signed wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald to a contract extension, the team announced on Friday.
According to the Cardinals, Fitzgerald has signed an extension that will keep him under contract with the team through the end of the 2018 season.
This deal, which was just finalized and is being sent in this morning, solidifies that one of the great WRs of all time finishes with one team. Rare and cool. https://t.co/QrKBiCtC4k— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 17, 2017
Fitzgerald is the Cardinals all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, total touchdowns and 100-yard games.
Next year will be Fitz's 15th w Cardinals. Only QB Jim Hart (18) & kicker Jim Bakken (17) will have played more for franchise.— Mark Dalton (@CardsMarkD) November 17, 2017
If he plays every game thru 2018 Fitz will tie Bakken for most reg season games played in Cards history (234). pic.twitter.com/IfE5iFRa0o
