Braves Pitchers and Catchers Report to Spring Training

Braves pitchers and catchers officially reported to Spring Training Friday morning kicking off the 2016 baseball season. A mix of youngsters and veterans played long toss and worked on their conditioning under clear blue skies at the team's headquarters at the Disney Wide World of Sports complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Several position players arrived early as well, including top shortstop prospect Dansby Swanson. The regulars don't officially report to camp until next week, but pitchers and catchers will hold their first scheduled workout Saturday morning.

FOX 5's Cody Chaffins caught up with some of the veterans who showed up for Friday's voluntary workouts.
