Atlanta Hawks player arrested for DUI in Oregon

An Atlanta Hawks player was arrested for driving under the influence in Oregon over the weekend.

According to the Eugene Police Department, Tyler Quincey Dorsey, 22, was charged with DUII, driving without lights, and open container.

Investigators said Dorsey was seen driving a Land Rover Discovery without headlights or taillights on around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in Eugene, Oregon. An officer pulled Dorsey over on Agate Street. According to police, the vehicle came to a rolling stop, then rolled forward before coming to a complete stop.

Police said the officer suspected Dorsey was impaired upon speaking with him, then saw that there was an open container of alcohol on the passenger side floorboard.

Dorsey played college basketball at the University of Oregon and was selected by the Hawks in the second round of the 2017 NBA draft.
