Atlanta Gladiators make fan's dreams come true

It's over six thousand miles from Northern Ireland to Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, but that doesn't stop little Ethan McClean from cheering on his favorite team. Last week, Ethan got to come visit the Atlanta Gladiators and make his dream come true.

Ethan has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and was given a trip to Atlanta by the Dreams Come True organization in the UK. He could have done anything, visited any hockey team, but Ethan chose the Atlanta Gladiators. Ethan became a Gladiators fan last year, when, after connecting via Twitter, the team sent him one of the Captain America inspired jerseys they wore last season. Ethan is a huge Captain America fan.

Since that time, Ethan has kept up with the team through the internet and when asked what his dream would like to be he said that he would like to go to an Atlanta Gladiators game.

The Gladiators went all out during Ethan's visit. He not only attended practice, but three games and dropped the first puck.

Ethan's dream got even better when he got to visit Nashville and get a behind the scenes look at the NL's Predators as well.

Ethan summed up his trip with one word. "Awesome."
