Wounded soldier gets new home
A woman who fought in the U.S. Army for more than 13 years, battled breast cancer and suffered serious injuries at war was given a new home without a mortgage.
Wounded Army Staff Sergeant Makisha Stiles held back tears when she was handed the key.
The Building Homes for Heroes organization said stiles fought through so many hardships and they just wanted to show her she wasn't fighting alone.
Stiles said she can't wait to put up a swing set in the backyard for her niece and nephew.
