ATLANTA - The youngest panda twins at Zoo Atlanta are now one-month old.
Born on September 3, 2016 to their mother Lun Lun and father Yang Yan, the twins are currently know as “Cub A” and “Cub B.” They’re expected to be named on December 12th in accordance with ancient Chinese “100 day” tradition.
Weighing about two pounds each, zoo officials say the twins have begun to show their species’ trademark black and white color. While their sexes are unknown, official are looking forward to more milestone moments, including the opening of their eyes and ear and walking.
The pair will make their official debut in December 2016 or January 2017.
Visitors hoping to catch a glimpse of the cubs can tune in to the PandaCam on the zoo’s website.
