COVINGTON, Ga. - A woman allegedly broke into a Covington business and then called the business owner saying she was inside the building.
Officers were dispatched to the business on Adams Street late Sunday morning after the owner called police reporting to officers they just received a call from the woman.
When the officer arrived, he found the business locked, but located the suspect inside the building. Amanda Nicole Silva reportedly told him she had entered the building through an unlocked window.
The officer took her into custody. Silva’s charged with burglary and drug possession.
