Woman dies after being shot inside car near Piedmont Park
ATLANTA - A woman shot in her car near Piedmont Park has died, according to Atlanta Police.
On Sunday night, officers found the woman, identified as Landa Mciver, sitting in the front passenger seat of her car, which was located inside a parking garage at Emory University Hospital. She was later pronounced dead.
Police say the woman was shot in her car on Piedmont Avenue then driven to the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified and interviewed by police. An investigation is ongoing.
