Woman charged with animal cruelty

BETHLEHEM, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - The wife of a man charged with animal cruelty is facing numerous charges of cruelty to animals herself.

Police searched a home owned by 26-year-old Morgan Kinder and her late husband earlier this month.

Officer said they found more than a dozen dogs in poor health and living in deplorable conditions, as well as several dead reptiles.

Police have since obtained warrants for Kinder's arrest.

This, following an investigation into her late husband, Stephen.

Police say he neglected his own animals, as well as animals at his dog training business in Tennessee.

He took his own life after charges against him were announced.
