Vigil, funeral to be held this week for beloved crossing guard
COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A Cobb County Schools crossing guard killed on the job will be laid to rest this week.
Edna Umeh's family told FOX 5 News there will be a candlelight vigil Tuesday night at Harmony-Leland Elementary School.
A visitation will be held Friday night at Unity Full Gospel Church in Mableton.
Her funeral will be Saturday afternoon at Vision for Souls Church, also in Mableton.
Police said a driver speeding through a school zone at Lindley Middle School hit Umeh last week.
