Video: Man tries to flee bank robbery on bike

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. - A bicycle may not have been the quickest way for an accused bank robber to try to make his getaway.

Police in Johns Creek released this surveillance video showing officers catch up with the suspect shortly after the crime. It happened last week at BB&T on State Bridge Road.

Police said the suspect handed the bank teller a note that demanded she give him "100s or this could be bad."

He then hopped on his bike, but before he could get far, officers were able to arrest him.
