An Atlanta girl born with congenital heart failure recently got a star-studded treat when she was invited to interview celebrities at the 2017 Miss America pageant.

Olivia Harvey has undergone two open heart surgeries at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In her 13 years of life, she’s faced a number of health problems, including a genetic disorder that affects her growth.

Despite her many health challenges, Olivia continues to persevere. She's the 2016-17 Georgia Champion Ambassador for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. It’s an honor that earned her the opportunity to interview celebrity judges and guest at this year’s Miss America pageant.

“Oh my gosh, it was so fun, so exciting…it was so cool,” Olivia recalled.

Using a remote video feed, Olivia got the chance to chat it up with the likes of business mogul, Mark Cuban, ESPN anchor, Sage Steele, Disney star, Laura Marano, model and Atlanta-native, Ciara and singer, Cole Swindell.

“I was like so scared and I was afraid that I was going to mess up or stutter or something,” she said. “After I interviewed the first person, I was like, I got this.”

When asked who her favorite interview was, Olivia said “Laura Marano. She was just so nice and just had a conversation…I wanted to scream. Mark Cuban was awesome too”

Olivia’s dad, Jason, told Fox 5 the celebrities were sincere and easy going.

“All of them were just really nice, really sweet and weren’t just doing it to do it, they were really talking to her,” he said.

Olivia says she enjoyed her momentary taste of stardom and may just make it her long-term gig.

“An actor or a singer, definitely my first choice,” she said. “Or, a physical therapist.”
