Group robs pizza delivery guy at vacant DeKalb home

- The search is on in DeKalb County after three men robbed a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint, according to police.

The crime happened Wednesday around 4:30 p.m at a house on Mary Lou Lane.

A Domino's Pizza employee said, while delivering pizza to the house from the Bouldercrest Road store location, the group appeared to be working on a black Chevrolet Malibu with gold stripes in the driveway.

When he approached, he said two men pulled out AK-47s and a third man placed a pistol in his mouth. He said the group forced him to the ground, went through his pockets and took his cell phone and wallet. The victim wasn't hurt and said the crew took off in the Chevrolet.

Neighbors spoke with FOX 5's Marissa Mitchell Saturday. They said the men were on the property of a vacant house up for sale. They reported seeing the group flag down cars and knock on doors in an effort to get jumper cables to boost their car. Now they realize it was likely a set-up.

Police haven't made any arrests in the case.
