ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. - A Tuesday traffic stop ended with illegal pills and other controlled substances being taken by police.
Adairsville Police tell FOX 5, an officer spotted a vehicle weaving along Highway 140 and pulled them over. Authorities said the driver Stanley Lee Taylor, 34, seemed to be very nervous.
Once police searched the car they found around 127 Alprazolam pills and a Schedule IV controlled substance stuffed between the seats inside of a glass container.
Taylor was arrested and taken to Bartow County Jail. He faces charges of failure to maintain lane, failure to exercise due care (cellphone use) and possession of Schedule IV controlled substance with intent to distribute.
