Teen dies after Thanksgiving night shooting

An 18  year old is dead after a shooting inside a Forsyth county home. Forsyth County Sheriff's Officials say a juvenile has been arrested in the shooting death of DreLandon Brown.

The shooting happened around 8:00 PM Thanksgiving night in the 1200 block of Wondering Way in southeast Forsyth. Authorities say people in the home identified the shooter and told police he had left the house and took a 2 week old infant with him. The baby's mother lives in the home. Investigators say the teen who was arrested is the baby's father.  Deputies found the suspect a short time later.  The baby was okay.

Specialized K9 units were on the scene Friday morning.  It was at that time investigators found the suspected murder weapon.

The juvenile has been charged as an adult with Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault.
