DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - The DeKalb County School District is investigating an attack on a 15-year-old sophomore at Redan High School.
Wednesday, Deja Smith said she was walking down the hallway when two students and a mom ambushed her.
"They ran up on me, pulled my hair, upper cut me and I tried to defend myself but I couldn't handle all three," Deja Smith said.
Smith said another student recorded the whole thing on camera. Smith's family in awe of what happened.
"Kids should be able to go to school and feel safe and not be attacked by students or parents," Darlene Smith Jr said.
As of Friday, no one had been suspended in connection with the incident.
The DeKalb County School District told FOX 5 the investigation is ongoing and whoever is responsible will be held accountable.
