Suspect fires shot inside Coweta County gas station

- The Coweta County Sheriff's Office is looking for two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a Shell gas station on McCollum Station Drive.

It happened Monday just before 1 a.m.

"These guys are dangerous," Captain John Kennedy said. "A clerk was just doing his job when one of the men pointed a gun at his head."

The manager of the gas station told FOX 5 News that one of the suspects came into the store minutes before the robbery. The manager said he asked to use the restroom then asked for directions. Then minutes later, the manager said he came back in with another man.

"They forced the clerk to empty cash registers... handing over an undisclosed amount of money," Kennedy said. "Then as the suspects were leaving, one of them noticed an ATM machine by the door. He then fired one shot missing the machine and hitting a Red Bull cooler."

Authorities said the suspects took off. No one was injured. Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
