Suspect arrested for murders of 2 men found dead in SUV

Atlanta Police have arrested a man they say is responsible for the murder of two men found shot to death in a vehicle earlier this month.

On the morning of Jan 3. Officers found the bodies of two men inside a maroon Infinity SUV on the 800 block of Lee Street.

The two men, who both had gunshot wounds, died at the scene. Investigators identified them as 34-year-old Quinton Porter and 30-year-old Frederick Parker.

A little over a week later, on Friday, Jan. 11, detectives obtained warrants for 40-year-old Carlos M. White for the murders.

Investigators say White targeted the men, who were both his acquaintances.

Officers arrested White and transported him to the Fulton County Jail.

He's been charged with two counts of felony murder.
