Suspect arrested for force feeding a goat drugs and alcohol

- Sheriff investigators were sent a disturbing video that showed two men force feeding a goat cocaine and whiskey.

Sergio Palomares-Guzman, 28, was arrested in Grayson on February 15. He faces charges of aggravated cruelty to animals after sheriff's investigators saw Palomares-Guzman holding the goat's horns with a different male suspect put cocaine into the goat's nose.

Palomares-Guzman started sharing the video, which eventually led to someone to tell authorities. He was taken to the Gwinnett County Jail.

Investigators believe the second male suspect lives in North Carolina and are working to identify him.

The goat was taken to the Gwinnett Animal Shelter and evaluated by a veterinarian. Doctors determine the animal was healthy.

Palomares-Guzman waived his ownership of the goat and it is now available for adoption. Anyone interested in adopting the goat should call the Gwinnett Animal Shelter at 770-339-3200.
