Student arrested for making terrorist threats at high school

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A Cobb County student faces charges of making terroristic threats at his high school.

Police charged Richard Lawrence Jennings after they said he told several classmates in his words, “I'm going to shoot up the school.”

According to the arrest warrant, Jennings admitted to making the statement about Allatoona High School, but he told them he was just trying to be funny.

He's free on a $20,000 after his arrest last week.
